American Idol Season 6 Predictions

It is down to the best of all those thousands of people who tried out for idol and the few that made it. It is now the time for the world to decide who they want to be the next American Idol. So who's it going to be?

We have three options at this stage in the competition. It comes down to Melinda Doolittle, Blake lewis, and Jordin Sparks. Of these three contestants who do you think is the best of the best? Well, this question can actually be answered by another question believe it or not; who has the best control of their vocals? The answer is Melinda Doolittle. Melinda has shown since day 1 that she can sing and routinely perform with top notch quality. But is she marketable enough to carry the weight of an album? Melinda is definitely not as marketable as Jordin Sparks who can captivate virtually any audience.

Jordin Sparks has a younger, fresher feel than the other contestants. Jordin has a new age touch that Melinda may not be able to develop before the end of the show. Jordin Sparks definitely has a career in music ahead of her. However, Melinda will take the gold for American Idol.

LaKisha Jones is off her game

Tuesday night LaKisha Jones sang a bit off tune as Simon, Puala, and Randy all agreed for once. Lakisha might be losing control of what has taken her almost to the top of the Idol challenge. It seems as though she may not have as much of a stable track record as fans and judges were a bit disappointed with performances Tuesday night.

WEN's prediction is that LaKisha will be leaving the popular TV series American Idol tonight and, as a result, leaving the two girls, Melinda and Jordan, and the only gentlemen left, Blake. It is coming down to who can be the most creative with song choice and personalization. However, as Randy said Tuesday night, too much personalization of a classic song is not always needed.

Blake Lewis makes a run for the money

Blake lewis's run for the top spot on American Idol is getting fierce as he is breaking out his beat boxing talent more and more lately. He is also beginning to incorporate the beat box more in each song as well. Will this cost Blake the title of American Idol? Although Blake's beat boxing is original, it may be so original that American Idol fans begin to find it a bit odd; especially for certain genres.

Blake, however, has the upper hand in the competition because, o yes, he is original. Blake is the only contestant that bring something different and somewhat refreshing to the American Idol table. It will be an interesting competition to the end as the WEN prediction is Blake will have a great career ahead of him and last until the final 3.
